Hey Beautiful! I'm Valerie Lint, Owner and Stylist. I moved to Poulsbo in 1984 with my family and feel blessed to have grown up in such a wonderful community that I call home.

Having raised three children as a single mom, I know how important it is to carve out some time for yourself. I've designed my business in a way that you can feel comfortable, relaxed, and enjoy some "me"  time while I focus on your hair care needs.

I've been a stylist for over 25 years and love spending time getting to know my guests. I specialize in helping you find the look that is you and works with your lifestyle and the hair God blessed you with. I love taking classes that help me go beyond what trends teach, so we are doing and using the right products/techniques for you.

While most stylists offer a great first service and solid maintenance care after that, I see my role as a stylist a bit differently. I work with all my guests to create a long-term hair care plan to ensure your cut, color, and style always look fresh to keep you from feeling bored or stuck in a routine. I will check in with you at each visit to see if any new issues have arisen, and we will work through them together.

 

Before your first visit with me, I will have you fill out my "New Guest Intake Form".  Because I like to make all my services custom and unique to you, I prefer all new clients to schedule a 15-minute consultation before scheduling any type of chemical service with me. This allows us to discuss your desires, expectations, and if your hair can handle the service. After your consultation, if we decide to move on, we will book your next appointment together.

When I am not in the salon, I am usually at home crocheting, binge-watching the next TV series, watching my granddaughter, or taking a class to further my skills as your stylist. On Sundays, you can find me helping out at church and spending time with my family.
